Nnedi Okorafor

Cincinnati, Estados Unidos, 1974.

Nacida en América, pero de ascendencia nigeriana, Okorafor ha sabido combinar en sus obras elementos de ambos mundos. Tras graduarse en el taller de literatura Clarion, donde estudiaron algunos de los mejores autores de ficción especulativa actuales, su obra ha sido nominada o ganadora de los principales premios del género.

En sus historias emplea elementos futuristas y especulativos para analizar la cultura africana y el papel de la mujer.
